Pete Shulga passed away on May 6, 2000. With a heavy heart, I write this. He will be greatly missed.
My name is Pete Shulga and I am a custom knifemaker. I am owner and maker of Shulga's Custom Knives. I strive for excellence in workmanship, materials used and reasonable prices. I am a member, in good standing in the PKA (Professional Knifemakers Association). I also am on the Board of Directors for the Texas Knifemakers & Collectors Association. I wish to thank God, my wife and family, friends and everyone who has helped me in my trade. Below is a sampling of some of the custom knives, that I make.
Dress Knives
Mother
of Pearl handle liner Lock Pocket Knife. This knife features Anodized Titanium
liners and bolsters, inlayed MOP in Thumb-bob. All screws, pins,
thumb-bobs are SS or Titanium. The blade is 440-C SS (stainless steel), with fancy
file work on the blade and liners. The blade length is 2 7/8" long and total
length of the knife is 7 1/8" long. This can be ordered in smaller version
also.
Dress Antique Ivory Micarta handle liner lock Pocket Knife. This knife features Anodized Titanium Liners and Bolsters, inlayed Tiger Eye in thumb-bob. All screws, pins, thumb-bobs are SS or Titanium. The blade is 440-C SS(Stainless Steel), with fancy file work on the blade and liners with the screws gold colored. The blade length is 2 7/8" long and total length of the knife is 7 1/8" long. This can be ordered in a smaller version also.
Tactical Knives
Tactical Liner Lock Pocket Knife. Aircraft Aluminum bolsters, G-10 slab handles with holes. Anodized Titanium liners, with all screws, pins and thumb-bobs are SS or Titanium. The blade is 440-C SS, RC 58-60 (hardness), with fancy file work on the blade and liners. The blade length is approximately 2 3/4" and the total overall length is approximately 7".
Tactical Liner Lock Pocket Knife. Full G-10 slab handles with holes, no bolsters. Anodized Titanium liners, with all screws, pins and thumb-bobs are SS or Titanium. The blade is 440-C SS, RC 58-60 (hardness), with fancy file work on the blade and liners. The blade length is approximately 2 3/4" and the total overall length is approximately 7".
