Knives by Gerry Hurst

Gerard Hurst passed away May 25, 2003.   This page is a memorial to a tremendous knifemaker and person.  We will miss him greatly.

Gerry has heard it said and personally feels that "pride in ownership" is the main reason that you purchase something handmade.  Therefore, it is his intention to build functional works of art.   Pieces of art that anyone can be proud to show or/and use.  Gerry's preference is to do custom work so that he can insure that an individual will receive a piece of art completely suited to his or her needs and desires. Only the very finest of materials are used an no short cuts are ever taken.  Each piece is the very best that he can do and he strives to improve the quality of each creation.
