Tom started making knives in 1964 and sold his first
knife in 1966. He mostly made knives as a hobby. In 1992 he began making knives
fulltime.
He builds Lockback folders and
traditional sheath knives. Every knife that he builds is made in his shop totally by
him. He does his own heat treating. He supplies hand-stitched leather
sheaths with all Straight Knives and hand-stitched belt pouches with his Folders.
Every knife that he builds is a
one-of-a-kind creation. He uses only the finest knife steel and materials available today.
